  1. And that makes you sad? People who are fat too? Probably he’s a roaming madman. There were several people around him who were laughing. No one is usually starving here. Instead they have growing problems with obesity. But I could use this picture to collect money – for me.

  2. I am not sure why you are offended. And I did not say starving, he could be getting enough food but not the right kind of nutrition, and yes that picture does me feel sympathetic towards the man, I am not sure why that struck the wrong chord with you? Should I instead be a part of the group that was laughing at him?

  3. I’m not offended, I’m interested! You wrote: „… on such a sad note.😦 „. That is called in behavior research a „conditioned emotional response“, related to the famous experiment of Pavlov’s dog. Without knowing the context (What is happening, what is outside the frame, is he dead, does he show an erection, is he poor or the owner of this place?), the picture awakes some feelings in you which could be true or false. Advertisement is using this to manipulate customers.
